Family

I got married young because I met my hot wife and couldn’t wait. We’ve now got 3 sweet kids full of promise and energy, lots of energy.  We’ve got awesome extended family and a lot of them, they are our support and inspiration.

I’ve been building sites since 1995. In 2004 i built a family networking site that got 50k page views (that was  a lot in 2004). Since then I’ve built countless sites including, SAP integrated publishing platforms, Saas API generator, Private content curation, a free university, a gmail backup site, a personal timeline builder,  many e-comm sites, many brochure sites, a small business social network, a physical goods story line site, and many more to come.

I love writing code, I love modernizing systems with the web.

Photography

I’m an avid photographer. I started out in 2003 shooting with my wife’s Pentax K1000 then my folks gave me nice PowerShot G1 when my daughter was born and that got me hooked. I saved up for a D70s and a 50mm1.8 and traded up ever since. I’ve shot weddings, model sessions, company events, and mostly my family. I have a major gadget penchant which led me to play with lots of off camera lighting toys, many DIY ring lights, soft boxes and other light modifiers.

I won a small town award for some landscape images but I still prefer capturing people.

Speakers

I’ve been building speakers since I was 12. My parents had a furniture restoration business so there was always a supply of fine wood and power tools. These days I work more on the sound quality than the asthetics, tweaking every last drop of linear amplitude response and harmonic distortion out of a system.
